India-EU Trade & Technology Council (TTC)
The India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) is the top-level platform where India and the European Union coordinate on trade, trusted technology and economic security. Set up in April 2022, it met for the third time in Brussels on 15 July 2026, where the two sides agreed to deepen work on semiconductors, artificial intelligence, clean energy and resilient supply chains, and to remake the Council into a more outcome-focused body. On 22 September 2026 a European Parliament committee delegation carried the same agenda to New Delhi, with India pressing for tangible Council outcomes, research collaboration through Horizon Europe and early implementation of the India-EU free trade agreement.
