Version 9 (published 18 September 2026) said Hindustan Aeronautics Limited handed the Indian Air Force its first HTT-40 basic trainer at Bengaluru on 18 September 2026. That count came from releases issued before the ceremony. The report published after the event puts the figure at three HTT-40 basic trainers, handed over alongside two LCA Tejas Final Operational Clearance twin-seat trainers for the Air Force and four Dhruv Next Generation helicopters for Pawan Hans Limited. Version 10 states three.
