Nashik's Simhastha Kumbh 2027
The Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Maha Kumbh 2027 is the Godavari edition of the Kumbh Mela, India's pilgrimage gathering held in turn at four river sites. It is in the news because it opened on 31 Oct 2026, as Jupiter entered Leo, with President Droupadi Murmu hoisting the main flag at Ramkund in Nashik.
