RBI's Bhubaneswar Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute
Bhubaneswar in Odisha now hosts two new Reserve Bank of India facilities: a Data Centre for the central bank's mission-critical systems, RTGS and NEFT among them, and a training institute that builds skills in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other new technologies. They are in the news because Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated both on 25 October 2026, presenting them as part of securing India's banking system against cyber threats.
