PM Vishwakarma Artisan Support Scheme
PM Vishwakarma is the Centre's five-year package for artisans who work with their hands and tools: recognition, training, a subsidised toolkit, cheap collateral-free credit and help selling. Three years after its launch it has met its registration target of 30 lakh craftspeople, and marked the milestone in Kolkata with West Bengal, its newest state, now on board.
