India's Transport Planning Authority (ITLA)
The Integrated Transport & Logistics Authority (ITLA) is a new national institution meant to plan, appraise and monitor India's transport infrastructure as one network rather than mode by mode. The Union Cabinet approved it on 6 October 2026 as a special purpose vehicle, to fix planning that is split across several transport ministries and agencies.
