India-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership
India and the 11-member ASEAN bloc have been Comprehensive Strategic Partners since 2022, working to a Plan of Action for 2026-2030, with 2026 named the ASEAN-India Year of Maritime Cooperation. In October 2026 the review of AITIGA, their 2010 goods-trade pact, held its 15th Joint Committee in Jakarta; at the economic ministers' round in Manila in September, India put two-way trade at USD 128.38 billion for 2025-26.
