ISP: India's Monthly Services Output Index
The Index of Services Production (ISP) is a monthly index from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) that tracks output in 19 formal services sub-sectors on a 2024-25 base. It is in the news because MoSPI released the July 2026 trial print on 29 September 2026, in which administrative and support services grew fastest, at 20.9 percent year on year.
