Domestic LPG Subsidy: Aadhaar Authentication
Households buy subsidised cooking gas at a regulated price set below cost, and the Centre now ties that price to identity checks. From 1 October 2026, a subsidised domestic LPG refill can be booked only by a consumer who has cleared biometric Aadhaar authentication.
