Cyclone Murasu (2026)
Cyclone Murasu is a Bay of Bengal tropical cyclone that carries India's own entry in the north Indian Ocean name list maintained by the WMO/ESCAP Panel on Tropical Cyclones. It came ashore close to Ongole on the south Andhra Pradesh coast early on 3 November 2026 as a severe cyclonic storm, within a week of Cyclone Arnab, and had weakened over land into a cyclonic storm by that afternoon.
