BHASHINI — India's Language AI Platform
BHASHINI is the Government of India's language-AI platform, run by the Digital India BHASHINI Division under the Digital India Corporation of the electronics and IT ministry, which lets public digital services work in Indian languages through translation and speech tools. It is in the news because the division and the Comptroller and Auditor General's office launched CAG-BHASHINI Anuvaad on 30 September 2026, an AI tool that translates audit reports and other official CAG documents.
