ASW Shallow Water Craft (Mahe class)
The Mahe class is Cochin Shipyard's batch of eight anti-submarine warfare shallow water craft (ASW-SWC), compact waterjet-driven submarine hunters for coastal waters, within a 16-craft Indian Navy programme. Its third ship, INS Mangrol, was commissioned at the Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on 12 October 2026, following INS Malvan at Karwar in July.
