The Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) is the statistics ministry's yearly survey of India's registered factories, recording what they produce, the value they add, the people they employ and the capital they hold. Its 2024-25 results, published on 30 September 2026, count 2.67 lakh establishments whose Gross Value Added grew 9.59 percent, with employment crossing 2 crore.
