AI Education and Skilling in India
AI education and skilling in India is a cluster of programmes run outside the IndiaAI Mission by the Education, Skill Development and Information and Broadcasting ministries, reaching from Class III classrooms to job-ready cloud training. It is in the news because August 2026 replies in Parliament reported the new school course and fresh Centre of Excellence funding, and a nationwide cloud-and-AI drive with Amazon Web Services began on 23 August.
