Digital Threat Report (BFSI Sector)
The Digital Threat Report is the government's annual cyber-threat assessment for India's banking, financial services, insurance and payments ecosystem, produced by MeitY together with CERT-In, the finance-sector incident-response team CSIRT-Fin, and the payments-security firm SISA. The second edition, for 2025-26, was released on 13 July 2026 and names AI asymmetry as the defining risk now facing financial institutions.
