Pensioners' Digital Life Certificate Campaign

The Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign is the pension department's nationwide drive to help pensioners prove they are alive, a condition for the pension to be paid, digitally through the Jeevan Pramaan app instead of in person. Its fifth edition, formally launched on 6 November 2026 and running to 30 November, generated nearly 40 lakh certificates in its first five days, with face authentication's share near 80 percent.
